The glove box you purchased has arrived. What should you do if you don't know how to start up and debug? Here's a detailed tutorial:

Glove Box

  • Preparation before startup
  1.  Check whether the working gas and regeneration gas are sufficient, and whether the working gas pipe is connected to the working gas cylinder, and whether the regeneration gas pipe is connected to the regeneration gas cylinder.

  2. Check if the power supply of the vacuum pump and the oil mist filter are installed properly. The pump oil should be in the middle and slightly above the minimum and maximum scale lines, without excessive pressure. The vacuum pump switch should be in the on state.

  3. Check if the network cable of the water oxygen analyzer, the power cable of the cleaning valve, and the air pipe of the cleaning valve are installed correctly.

  4. Check if the accessories such as gloves, shelves, and power cords inside the glove box have been installed.

  5. It is recommended to connect the regeneration exhaust port, cleaning exhaust port, and vacuum pump exhaust port to the waste disposal device.

  • Power on leak detection: Start the glove box power supply
  1.   Leak detection of pressure reducing valve: Open the main valve of the working gas cylinder and adjust the working air pressure to between 0.04MP and 0.06MP. (Note: When adjusting the working air pressure with the main valve closed, the pressure reducing valve does not respond.). Click on Settings, press up 4, press down -1, turn off the main valve of the working gas cylinder, and observe whether the main and auxiliary gauges of the pressure reducing valve drop pressure. If there is no drop pressure, it means that the gas pipeline connection is normal and there is no leakage; Restore the main valve of the working gas cylinder to the open state.

  2. Glove box leak detection: Click on settings, press up 11, press down 8. Wait for ten minutes, click on record, click on leak rate, display as a straight line, or if there is almost no change in the values before and after ten minutes, it indicates that the glove box has good sealing and no leakage.

  3. Kind reminder: Room temperature has an impact on the pressure of the glove box. It is recommended to conduct a glove box pressure leak detection test in a relatively stable environment

  • Cleaning - Circulation - Cleaning

Click on the analyzer, which is now in the on state. Click on 'Clean', set the cleaning time to 30 minutes, click on 'Start' to start cleaning, click on 'Return' to view the water oxygen detection value on the main screen. When the water oxygen value is below 200PPM (when the water value is below 200PPM, the oxygen value starts to display), click on 'Clean' and then click on 'Clean' again. At this point, the cleaning has been manually turned off and you will return to the main page.

Click the loop button to start the loop system. After 3 minutes, click the loop button again to shut down the loop system.

Click on 'Clean' again, with a default cleaning time of 30 minutes. Click on 'Start' to start the cleaning process. When the oxygen level in the glove box is below 100PPM, click on 'Clean' again, manually turn off the cleaning process, and return to the main page.

After cleaning, a cycle is carried out because the gas in the pipeline cannot be cleaned during the cleaning process. It is necessary to rely on the circulation system to bring back the water and oxygen in the pipeline to the inside of the glove box, and continue cleaning until the water oxygen value in the glove box is below 100PPM before starting the glove box regeneration.

  • Regeneration:

Click on "Regeneration", select "Regeneration Preset", check if there is normal gas discharge from the exhaust port, click on "Regeneration", and choose "Yes" to start regeneration.

Half an hour later, check if the purification column has heated up (with air sensing, do not touch the purification column). Three hours later, check if there is normal gas discharge from the regeneration exhaust port and if the float flowmeter is between 15-20ML.

The regeneration time of the glove box is 20 hours. After the regeneration is completed, observe the water oxygen value on the control screen. When the water oxygen value is below 100PPM, click cycle and the glove box can be put into use. If the regeneration is completed and the water oxygen value is higher than 100PPM, the cleaning operation can be carried out again until the water oxygen value in the glove box is lower than 100PPM. Manually turn off the cleaning, start the cycle, and put the glove box into use.
