A glove box is a device that provides a water free, oxygen free, and dust-free environment for high-purity experimental operations. Its key parameters include box size, control system, purification capacity, vacuum pump specifications, and water oxygen indicators. Knowing these parameters can better understand the performance characteristics of the glove box, providing a basis for selecting the glove box correctly and using it efficiently. The glove box body is made of 304 stainless steel material with a thickness of 3MM; The outer surface of the glove box is spray painted, usually white, but the color can be customized; The inner surface is an oil film drawing surface, which adopts oil film drawing technology to enhance aesthetics, change the reflection path of light, reduce direct reflection and mirror reflection phenomena, and effectively reduce glare problems.


The front window of the glove box is sealed with an O-ring vacuum flange, and the overall flange window is formed in one piece, which is easy to disassemble and maintain. The sealing performance is better than traditional windows, and the window is made of tempered glass with a thickness of 8MM.


The glove opening on the window is made of aluminum alloy material, which has high strength and can better ensure the stability and durability of the glove opening. It is not easily damaged or deformed and can be used for a long time. On the other hand, aluminum alloy has good corrosion resistance, can adapt to various working environments, is not easily corroded by chemical substances, and can effectively extend the service life of glove boxes.


The glove box gloves are made of butyl rubber and have a thickness of 0.4mm. The cuff diameter can be selected from 7 inches or 8 inches. Most glove boxes use butyl rubber gloves, but specific requirements can also be customized.

The standard configuration of the glove box filter is up to 0.3 μ m, which can effectively filter out particles and impurities in the gas. It is equipped with a gas inlet and a gas outlet. For experiments with high requirements, multiple filters or integrated ultra clean filters can be customized.


The glove box storage rack is made of stainless steel material, which has high strength, is not easily deformed, and is easy to clean. It is equipped with 3 layers of storage boards, and the height can be adjusted. The number of storage boards can be increased or decreased.


The glove box interface specification is DN40KF, with several spare interfaces and one power interface (220V). The number of interfaces can be customized.


The standard circular large transition cabin has a length of 600mm and a diameter of 360mm (optional 400mm); The standard circular small transition cabin has a length of 300MM and a diameter of 150MM; The inner and outer surface processes are consistent with the box body, and the outer surface can also choose a mirror surface. It is equipped with trays, inner and outer cabin doors, and pressure gauges. The size and shape of the transition cabin can be designed according to the requirements.


The glove box purification column is used to remove moisture and oxygen from the box body. The purification column is made of 304 stainless steel and contains 5KG copper catalyst and 5KG molecular sieve. It is combined with a circulation system and operated by a circulating fan to remove water and oxygen, ensuring that the internal environment of the glove box meets the experimental requirements.


These parameters collectively determine the performance of the glove box, and mastering glove box parameters helps ensure optimal operational results in specific experimental or work environments.
