This also prevents the electrolyte from coming into contact with water inside the glove box, thereby preventing the hydrolysis of lithium salts to produce corrosive hydrofluoric acid and other substances, effectively protecting the electrodes and internal components of lithium batteries from corrosion and extending the service life of lithium batteries.
The high-efficiency filter (HEPA) and other equipment in the glove box can filter out small dust particles in the gas, which makes it almost impossible for dust or impurities to enter the interior of lithium batteries during research and development or production.
Glove boxes can integrate coating, packaging and other equipment to achieve one-stop production from materials to batteries.
