In the current fields of scientific research and industrial precision manufacturing, the requirements for sterile and pollution-free operating spaces are becoming increasingly stringent. To address the pain points in this industry, sterile isolation glove boxes with sealed protection functions have emerged. These glove boxes effectively achieve three important functions through the synergistic effect of physical barriers and gas filtration systems: avoiding external microbial contamination of products, blocking hazardous substances from contacting the human body, and ensuring precise control of experimental variables. Aseptic isolation glove boxes have been widely used in vaccine production, semiconductor packaging, aerospace material preparation, and other scenarios that require extremely high cleanliness.

Tracing its origins, isolation technology can be traced back to glove box technology during World War II, which was mainly used to handle radioactive materials and its core purpose was to protect operators from harmful substances. With the passage of time, the application scope of isolation technology has been continuously expanding since the 1980s. In the field of microbiological testing, sterile isolation glove boxes can effectively prevent contamination of test items by external microorganisms, greatly reducing the occurrence of false positive results and providing more accurate data support for scientific research and quality control.

The sterile isolation glove box itself has many excellent characteristics. Its good sealing is the foundation for achieving a sterile environment. By integrating advanced sterilization systems, it can repeatedly sterilize the gas inside the box and all exposed surfaces, effectively removing biological loads. After the sterilization process is completed, gas exchange is carried out with the help of high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters, which can ensure the cleanliness of the gas inside the box and maintain a constant pressure inside the box, forming a stable positive pressure environment. It is like building an invisible barrier inside the box, firmly blocking the invasion of external pollution.

From the perspective of structural composition, the sterile isolation glove box includes a series of related components such as the main box body, sterilization system, circulating purification system, transition chamber, instruments and meters. These components work together to minimize contact between personnel and test samples through their excellent sealing characteristics, positive pressure protection system, sterilization system, and transition system. This characteristic is particularly crucial in the pharmaceutical production process. For example, in the production process of some highly active pharmaceutical ingredients, operators do not need to directly contact the drugs, effectively avoiding contamination risks, especially reducing the risk of false positives, ensuring the stability and reliability of product quality.

In the pharmaceutical industry, the advantages of sterile isolation glove boxes are very obvious. Many active pharmaceutical ingredients have strong toxicity, and the application of sterile isolation glove boxes enables operators to carry out production operations in a safe environment, avoiding harm from toxic and harmful substances during the production process.

In addition, the sterile isolation glove box is equipped with a separate high-efficiency filter, gas circulation purification system, and integrated gasification hydrogen peroxide sterilization system, which enables it to automatically and accurately control the production environmental conditions inside the box. Through verification using negative score or over kill methods, sterile isolation glove boxes can reduce the microbial count to an extremely low level of 10-6, while traditional cleanrooms can only control the microbial count at a level of 10-3. This huge advantage is fully reflected in the production process of antibody drugs.

In recent years, the antibody drug industry has flourished, with a global market size exceeding 100 billion US dollars and continuing to show a growth trend. Due to the fact that antibody drugs are mostly administered by injection in clinical practice, this places extremely high demands on the yield and quality of sterile preparations. The sterile isolation glove box can provide a reliable sterile environment for sterile research and testing, ensuring that sterile tests are conducted under controllable, reliable, enclosed, and low biological load conditions, providing a solid guarantee for the high-quality production of antibody drugs.
