  • Q How much gas is needed for glove box regeneration?

    A Glove box regeneration usually uses a mixture of hydrogen and working gas, with a hydrogen content of 5% -10%. Glove box regeneration is to restore the water and oxygen adsorption capacity of the glove box purification column adsorption material. Each MK100 purification column requires approximately 3000-4000L (volume under standard conditions) of mixed gas. When regenerating the glove box, the main pressure range of the pressure reducing valve should be adjusted to>15Mpa, and the secondary pressure range of the pressure reducing valve should be set to 0-0.5Mpa.

The main purpose of the regeneration process is to restore the adsorption capacity of purification materials such as copper catalysts and molecular sieves inside the purification column, in order to ensure a highly pure environment inside the glove box. The regeneration process usually takes about 20 hours. After the regeneration is completed, manually start the cycle to check whether the water oxygen value has effectively decreased, in order to verify whether the adsorption capacity of the purification column has been restored.
  • Q How to set up Mikrouna glove box cleaning?

    A When cleaning the Mikrouna glove box, the analyzer should be turned on, the circulation system should be turned off, and the box pressure setting should be restored to the default value, usually with an upper pressure of 6 and a lower pressure of 1. Then click the cleaning button, set the cleaning time for 30 minutes, and click start cleaning. After 30 minutes, the cleaning will automatically end. If the oxygen level in the box is not lower than 100ppm after the automatic end, the cleaning can be repeated; If the oxygen level in the box has dropped below 100ppm within 30 minutes, the cleaning can be manually turned off.
  • Q How to create different environments for glove boxes to test plant growth?

    A The glove box can be equipped with a control system that can accurately adjust environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and light. By adjusting these factors, the growth environment of plants in different seasons or ecological conditions can be simulated to meet the needs of different plant tissue cultures, providing suitable environmental conditions for plant tissue cultures and improving the reproducibility and accuracy of experiments.
